When you exercise, neurological electrical impulses cause your muscles to contract and relax. Ultratone® works by simulating these natural impulses, making your muscles contract and relax as they would do during normal exercise.

However, although the technology is very safe, it is not suitable for people with certain medical conditions. If you have had liver or kidney failure, heart disease, or if you wear a pacemaker, Ultratone® will not be suitable for you. It is also not possible to treat pregnant or lactating women with the technology.

We carry out a full medical assessment before starting your treatment, so if you are not a suitable candidate, we will find out before your programme begins.

There are usually no side effects at all, but a small number of people encounter mild issues such as redness of the skin, excessive thirst, or nausea immediately after the treatment. These can all be countered by drinking water and will disappear in a few hours.

The results are long term, but this is affected by your lifestyle. To give an example, if someone consumes 4000 calories a day, although they will lose inches during the Ultratone® course, they will quickly put these inches back on.
